Vitaly Petrov: "The goal is to have a clean weekend"

Vitaly Petrov is getting ready for the ninth round of the 2014 DTM season. The last non-german race of this year's championship will be held in Zandvoort, Holland.

Vitaly Petrov: "Zandvoort is a very interesting track with some nice twisty sections. I've seen some videos from previous races there and it looks like the layout is not easy. The track is also a bit narrow, which makes it even more difficult.

I go to Holland with a positive feeling. Last race weekend at Lausitzring was good for us, we saw that we are moving forward, we started to understand the car more and more. I'd like to see what we can achieve with normal conditions.

We had lots of rain during this season, and on a wet track it is not always easy to understand what is going on. At Lausitzring we were really fast on a drying track. And now I want to see a confirmation, that it was our real performance.

Of course our main goal is to have a clean weekend, without mistakes. As always we will try our best."
